Welcome Party
Join us at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts to kick off the weekend! We’ll have burgers & hot dogs, drinks and snacks!
Attire: Yacht Club Chic – Show off your best linens, sweater vests and anything else that screams yacht club that you’ve had in the closet but haven’t had a chance to wear. Feel free to wear white to this event!

Ceremony
Hosted in Sammy Yard at the Cobb’s, we will have a 4:30pm ceremony. Transportation from the local hotels will be provided with a schedule to be provided. If you’re local to the area, please park at the Bay Harbor Yacht Club and transportation to the house will be provided. There is NO parking available at the house.

Cocktail Hour
Following the ceremony, cocktails and hors d’oeuvre will be served. Enjoy a drink and take in the view!

We’re super excited to share this slice of heaven with our friends and families. For those of you who haven’t had the opportunity to visit Bay Harbor before, it can be a bit of a trek. There are 2 local airports, Traverse City and Pellston followed by Grand Rapids a bit down state. We recommend renting a car from the airport, as we won’t have transportation to/from the airports.

We’ve linked some hotels and are working on finalizing room block opportunities.
At the moment, booking is not yet available for the following hotels: Bay Harbor Village Suites, or the Courtyard Marriott.
Unfortunately the Inn at Bay Harbor is sold out.

Will there be transportation to/from the airport?
no. We recommend a rental car for those flying into one of the local airports.
Will there be transportation throughout the weekend?
YES. There are NO Ubers/ride-share opportunities in the Bay Harbor area. We will have transportation for Friday to and from the Welcome Party along with Saturday to/from ceremony & reception to all hotels listed on the website. We will have busses on a loop schedule and when the schedule is available it will also be included here!
Will there be parking for the ceremony?
There will parking for the ceremony at the Bay Harbor Yacht Club, but no parking at the Cobbs house. We will have shuttles to the ceremony from the yacht club. For Bay Harbor locals we ask that you park at the Yacht Club and take a shuttle down.
What is the dress code?
Welcome Party – as noted on the schedule, this is yacht club chic. Get creative and have fun! Think linens, sundresses, white jeans/pants and a top, sweater vest, polo and khakis work too! (white is allowed at this event!)
Wedding (ceremony + reception) – Coastal Black Tie
For men: Tuxedos encouraged
For Women: Maxi/Midi dresses, think floral and bold colors! No need to bring a gown but we’re hoping for lots of patterns and colors.
The ceremony is on grass, so please be mindful of your footwear, and we encourage women to wear a thicker heel. Your stiletto will sink!
Please no jeans, flip flops, or shorts or SSBDs.
Can I bring a guest?
Due to limited capacity, we can only accommodate the people named on your invitation. Unfortunately we cannot add additional guests.
Can we bring our kids?
Kids are welcome to enjoy the weekend, and we’d love to see them at our Welcome Party; however, not at the ceremony or reception. Please contact Zach or Cricket if you need help with accommodations.
Ceremony & Reception Details
Ceremony will be at 4:30pm ET at the Cobb Residence. Following the ceremony, guests will head to the Bay Harbor Yacht Club for cocktails starting at 5:30pm followed by dinner and dancing.
We will have shuttles for guests, but for those who prefer, it is about a 5 minute walk from the house to the reception venue.
